Kevin’s father is not dead and Kim still has asthma. Then, an intimate interview with a very special guest.  We dive in to a personal experience with opiate addiction, a topic that we feel passionate about.  Like our Mental Health Episode we believe this topic is rarely discussed, which is part of the problem.  Kim brings astonishing, heart-breaking facts, and Kevin tries to get at the heart of the matter.

Plus, Kevin has some confusing news in his Husband Hunting Update, and Kim is dropping some slippery conditions in her Commuter Corner.

  1. Good show…nice to hear about Bryans thought process from beginning to present day.

    Alcoholic quesadilla…lol

Probably should have had cloud leave the table before the last segment…sounded like he was half drunk towards the end, kept interrupting…lol

That’s all I got today…I would like to make an appearance, be it as a guest (on what topic, I’m not sure)…or a consultant as mentioned…like tony reali on pardon the interruption or chris fallica on GameDay (sports shows, my only frame of reference)

  2. Just got done listening to this episode. I just wanted to say how proud I am of Bryan for having the courage to tell his story. Also, I remember when Bryan first told Kevin about his problem and how we had this debate of “what should we do? Should we tell someone? Would he be mad if we told someone? Am I betraying the trust of my brother and friend if I told someone?” And I think it’s important to say that that was a real struggle but the decision should ALWAYS be to get the person help regardless of how it impacts the relationship. Having said that, I will also say that I think you guys sound great, I haven’t listened to all the episodes but the ones I have, I have enjoyed . Keep up the good work!

    1. Thank you kindly Jim. I appreciate you listening, and we appreciate you being there that day. Share away, and get ready for the new episode!

  3. great episode! I’ve recently been hipped to your podcast and quickly got hooked (lame addiction joke😬). All of them have been great, but this one hit close to home, and I appreciated it for its honesty and respect for the subject matter, or rather your honesty and respect. Keep up the good work, friends!
